Oscar and His Goose: A wild goose showed up at our place about three weeks ago and he and Oscar have now become friends. This was taken on Sunday, January 21, 2007. Funny thing is: when Oscar barks, the goose honks. Two barks - two honks. The goose has been following Oscar around the place. Yesterday, when I came home, the goose was snuggled right up next to Oscar - both watching traffic as it went by. Later, both were in the back yard. Oscar started running toward the front yard barking and, you guessed it, the goose took off running after him honking all the way. They stood side by side in the front yard looking across the road, Oscar barking and the goose honking. After a few minutes of this, Oscar started wandering away back toward the back yard.....with goose in tow....just like you would see ducks following one another. |
